Wireless tehnology has been encouraged by the need to cover open areas or spaces with wiring problems. There are many technologies which take advantage of air communication to transfer data: bluetooth, Gprs and standart 802.11 known as Wireless or WiFi.
During last years Wireless has been more and more used by companies and citizens to connect pc in network because of the easy installation and high speed transfer.
Wireless is useful for network connection but we cannot forgot security. The use of radio waves may be intercepted by strangers who can access our network.
For this reason, there are many instruments, known also for wired networks, that check data flows and can monitor and prevent an external attack by hackers.
